Outreach Program

In India, students who do not move out to big cities for education are at somewhat of a disadvantage. A Student in village will not have the same kind of exposure to market and industry like a student in Mumbai. This limitation has an impact on the student’s job prospects as well.

One main reason for this is that typically training institutes, that provide this exposure, are not Commercially motivated to setup operations due to small size of the market.

As part of Social responsibility initiatives, Big Data Gurukul started Outreach program in 2015 to mitigate this disparity. This initiative has essentially 3 key activities:

1. Conduct Seminars and distribute material to bring awareness of emerging technologies to Students and Staff.
2. Partner with Colleges to train/teach emerging technologies as part of their curriculum.
3. Provide Extra-curricular training to students in these technologies.

So far, BDG has conducted 50 plus trainings. We continue to partner with various colleges ( the list keeps growing) to enhance the quality of education.
